APPEARANCE: Bright, with a deep purple core
AROMAS: Vibrant and youthful notes of violets and mulberry, perhaps tobacco too
TASTE: Restrained but rich blackcurrant, plummy palate, very well integrated oak and touch of sweetish caramel from French oak barrels. Medium tannins and acidity, medium to full bodied.
FOOD PAIRING: Roast chicken, grilled red meats or mature hard cheeses
OVERALL: An understated but beautifully balanced Malbec, with good ageing potential
