Depending on number of guests, timescale and budget, a tasting might typically comprise 6 to 8 wines. A glass of fizz might be followed by a couple of white wines, while the balance would be reds. Occasionally a sweet wine is offered to finish! No prior knowledge is required – on the contrary, the emphasis is on fun, informality and a chance to enjoy something a little different.
