Brazil sparkling ‘consistently excellent’ says Harpers report

While the latest South American wine report from Harpers Wine & Spirit magazine focuses heavily, and predictably, on Chile and Argentina, we are delighted that Brazil does feature (albeit only briefly!).

Ben Franks, MD of Novel Wines in Bath, mentions the ‘consistently excellent’ Brazilian sparkling wine his company is selling, while also highlighting the country’s full-bodied reds as another area of strength.

In the same article Go Brazil’s own MD Nicholas Corfe emphasises the growing (Covid-induced?) willingness of consumers to experiment with new labels, the growing awareness of Brazilian wines in the UK market and – that phrase again – their consistently high quality.

See pg 25 of the Harpers report for more details.
