The latest edition of Decanter magazine (September 2025) includes a panel tasting of some 150 South American ‘Premium Whites’ – and we’re thrilled to report that the only three Brazilian labels highlighted in the article are all imported by Go Brazil!
The Pizzato winery leads the way with family winemaker Flávio’s PP Semillon 2022 awarded 93 points and his Chardonnay de Chardonnays 2023 92 points.
The Três Bocas Branco 2023 from Campos de Cima, an unoaked blend of Assyrtiko, Arinto and Alvarinho, makes up the trio, scoring 91 points.
Under Decanter’s scoring system, a wine awarded 90-94 points is ‘highly recommended’.. a ‘very accomplished wine, with impressive complexity’.
We should also point out that Brazil plants around three times more red varieties than white, so these high scores are extra impressive.
Indeed, we have been seeking to broaden our range of white wines and very recently added both a Pálava (a variety originating in Czechia) and a Malvasia.
