We were very encouraged to read a recent article* from the Financial Times newspaper which featured two wineries located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil’s most southerly state – not least because Go Brazil is the UK’s exclusive importer for the first mentioned, Don Guerino.
Indeed, Bruno Motter, director of oenology at Don Guerino, broke this news to our MD, Nicholas Corfe, while both were attending Brazil’s ‘Wine South America’ trade show! (see here our Show Report).
As well as describing his family’s northern Italian roots, Bruno references the many international awards that both his and other Brazilian wineries have won in recent years.
In particular, his CEMENTO red blend is highlighted – quite rightly, as this concrete-egg aged wine has been very popular with Go Brazil’s customers and has previously been recommended also by The Guardian newspaper.
