A mature and wonderfully smooth drinking Merlot that has been aged in French oak barrels. Has concentration of dark plum and damson flavours, combined with more savoury or earthy notes. Ideally suited to roasted or grilled meats but serve too with spiced dishes or medium-strong cheeses. Will benefit from opening in advance.
