We’re delighted to announce the reinstatement of one of Brazil’s iconic wines, the Miolo Lote 43, into the Go Brazil portfolio.
Made in a fruit forward, modern style this is a Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon ‘Bordeaux’ style blend, aged in new French barrels for approx. 12 months. The 2012 vintage, available now from Go Brazil, has twice been awarded 91 points, in 2018 & 2018, by influential trade magazine Decanter.
‘Lote 43’ refers to the parcel of land bought by Italian immigrant Giuseppe Miolo in 1897 soon after his arrival in Brazil, and which now forms a very small part of the Miolo Wine Group’s 1000+ hectares of vineyards.
