Jancis Robinson stars at BRICS wine-tasting – and at Wine Future Hong Kong

Jancis Robinson MW, wine supremo and FT columnist, was the star guest at a recent tasting of ‘BRIC’-sourced wines at the Vintners Hall, London, in support of the EMpower childrens’ charity. Brazilian wine was well featured, and we were delighted to have been invited, by Bowes Wines, to supply fizz from Cave Geisse and Casa Valduga.

We are proud to announce our ever-popular Dadivas Chardonnay from Lidio Carraro won Gold medal for best white wine. Cave Geisse Brut Terroir 1998 has, coincidentally, been selected by Jancis Robinson as one of just 15 wines she’ll be presenting at the Wine Future 2011 Grand Tasting in Hong Kong, in November. She says these are ‘very high quality wines coming from some of the more established wine producing regions plus a handful from emerging markets such as Brazil, Turkey and China”.
