Campos de Cima Três Bocas Tinto 2022 (Tannat/Cab Franc/Petit Verdot)

First launched five years ago, the Três Bocas Tinto blend has rapidly become of our most popular red wines!

As in previous vintages this current 2022 is unoaked and its three component red grapes have changed, this time featuring Tannat (50%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Petit Verdot (20%).

A fascinating and unusual wine: medium to full bodied and characterised by robust, juicy dark fruit with hints of spice and green pepper, it has matured, becoming smooth and well rounded.

Can be enjoyed on its own but will make a great pairing with roasts, steaks, casseroles, BBQ fare or strongly-flavoured cheeses.

‘Três Bocas’ references the three grape varieties, the location of the vineyard and the Campos de Cima winery’s three lady owners. The winery is fully self-sustainable, relying on solar power generated from panels located on the property.

Tasting note below refers to a previous vintage consisting of a Tempranillo/Malbec/Tannat blend.
