Go Brazil is delighted and proud to offer, for just the second time in the UK, a mature Brazilian sparkling Trad Method wine in Magnum (150cl) format, supplied in a fine presentation box.

Produced by the multi-award winning Familia Geisse winery, this Traditional Method ‘Brut Vintage’ dry sparkling wine was issued as a limited edition – approx. 500 Magnums were bottled in 2014 – and may therefore be of interest to collectors and connoisseurs.

Remarkably, the wine was aged on the lees for 8 years, then disgorged in Feb 2022 and released several months later. See details below.

The wine is a 70:30 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir blend, with 7gm/ltr. residual sugar and 12.5% Abv.

It was awarded 93 points in the 2020 edition of the ‘Descorchados’ South American wine guide

Winemaker Carlos Abarzúa describes the wine as having a ‘clear, intense gold colour with a fine and persistent perlage..with well developed toasted notes which bring to mind dried fruits and spices. On the palate it shows great complexity; full bodied and with good persistence and balanced acidity; creamy and with a very long finish..’
