Dark inky blue-black in colour, while blackcurrant and plum notes dominate on the nose. Palate shows firm tannins with vibrant fruit and a persistent finish. 10 months ageing in a combination of used American and French barrels adds a gentle toast and spice character.
An intriguing, complex wine, with good ageing potential.
