Produced by one of Brazil’s best known wineries, Lote 43 is a superb ‘Bordeaux’ style blend; indeed, it has reached iconic status in the country.

14% Abv. This blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon & 50% Merlot was vinified separately, then aged for approx. 12 months in French oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered; will benefit from decantering.

Now approaching full maturity, the Lote 43 shows hints of mocha, dark chocolate, spice, tobacco and licorice aromas, underpinned by a concentration of bramble and blackcurrant fruit. With previously firm tannins now softening, this is a full bodied, powerful and complex wine. Recommended with beef, venison or lamb.
