Pizzato Allumé Pinot Noir 2022

Created by the Pizzato winery, this is the third in a trio of fine new red wines from the Allumé range which we launched in the early part of 2025.
Here we have a single varietal Pinot Noir and, as is the case with the Allumé Cabernet Franc and Allumé Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine was produced from grapes harvested from both Pizzato’s own vineyards and the wider surrounding region.
It was aged partly in a combination of new and second use French oak barrels, both low and medium toast; partly also in stainless steel tank.

Family winemaker Flávio highlights the light-medium body, cherry and strawberry fruit aromas, undertones of earthiness and wild herbs, and the good balance between tannins and acidity.
Recommended with chicken, turkey, game, mushroom-based dishes, risotto, pasta, roast vegetables and soft cheeses, such as brie and camembert.
Clean, minimalist style label; bottled under cork.
