Some 49,000 visitors from 141 countries passed through the doors at ProWein this year, not quite a record number but the international scale of this trade show cannot be overestimated.
Indeed, with some 6000 stands, we at Go Brazil sadly only found time to sample wines from a handful; most of our time was spent catching up with suppliers – and potential new ones – on the dedicated Wines of Brazil pavilion.
While we love visiting Brazil (who doesn’t!), and have plans to visit that country’s annual trade fair in September, there is a lot to be said for hopping over to Düsseldorf and experiencing the energy and enthusiasm that ProWein invariably generates.
Next year’s edition of the show takes place a little earlier, from 10th-12th March 2024.
