New arrivals for 2018!

Brazilian red winesWe’re delighted to announce the introduction of two new reds from Don Guerino, a family run winery whose Reserva Teroldego and Vintage Malbec were highlights for Go Brazil in 2017.

Chosen from their ‘Sinais’ range, which already features an Itálico Riesling, Malbec Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc, we are adding a single varietal Merlot and a Cabernet Sauvignon.
Sinais is attractively presented, offered in screwcap and has a RSP of £12.50 / bottle.

After a short lull we are back in business with several new lines from Campos de Cima. Enthusiasts may remember this winery’s ‘Assinatura’, a delicious Malbec/Shiraz/Tannat blend, which sadly hasn’t been produced since 2014 but is looking promising for the current 2018 vintage. In the meantime we are shipping their ‘3 Bocas’, an unoaked Tannat/Cab Sauv/Ruby Cabernet blend, a chunky but complex red for which we have high hopes!

Secondly, by contrast, we are introducing their new ‘Irene Antonietta’, a delicate and perfumed rosé made from Merlot, Shiraz and Malbec. The line-up is completed with a 2017 single varietal Viognier. All wines are supplied under cork closure and will retail between £13-15 / bottle.

Both the Tres Bocas and Irene Antonietta will be on show at the upcoming SITT tastings – see SITT article below.

All wines will be available w/c 19th February, with full tasting notes to follow shortly afterwards.
