Yes, four years have already passed since Brazil hosted the last World Cup and this time the global footie competition is all set to kick off in Russia, with the tournament running from June 14th-July 15th.
While we’ll be closely following the fortunes of Brazil – of course – we’ll also be checking out perennial underachievers England, whose first task is to negotiate their way past Belgium, Tunisia and Panama. Oh, well…
Off the field, it’s also an opportunity to play World Cup wines – so, English fizz v Brazilian fizz, for example, or Uruguayan reds v Portuguese reds, etc.
If that’s your game, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to recommend wine for the World Cup, with a star-studded team full of Brazilian wines: email@example.com
