Take the online tour of Campos de Cima winery

Undaunted by the closure forced on it by the Covid-19 crisis, Brazil’s Campos de Cima winery has been leading the way when it comes to embracing online technologies.

During lockdown Brazilian visitors to this boutique, family-run winery, which lies in the country’s far southwest, are being invited to take a ‘virtual’ tour of the premises and to participate in online tastings.

The success of this new approach prompted Go Brazil to ask Pedro Candelária, Commercial Director, for our own guided tour…and it wasn’t long before we discovered that, thanks to the installation of brand new solar panels, the winery is now completely self-sustainable in energy!

Nb.

-As well as their outstanding Trad Method sparkling wine (which has won two IWSC silver medals), Campos de Cima produces some top quality red blends, rosé, single varietal whites and even brandy – mentioned in the above video. Here at Go Brazil we currently import both their Brut and Extra Brut sparkling, the ‘Assinatura’ and ‘Três Bocas’ red blends, and a Viognier. We plan to add some new lines and indeed, after hearing that the 2020 vintage was another cracker, are hopeful this can happen in the near future.
