Wine Tasting & Education

As well as getting a taste of our Brazilian wines, would you like to learn more about how they are produced and the regions they come from?

If so, Go Brazil would be delighted to arrange a Brazilian wine tasting, featuring an informative talk about Brazil’s wines and the wider country.

Our work in the wine education sector includes presenting private wine tastings to many different types of audience and at a wide range of venues. This includes societies, circles, clubs, schools, universities and even groups that meet at home. On average Go Brazil presents to groups such as these every two or three weeks, whether in Ipswich, Suffolk or elsewhere in East Anglia, or other areas of the UK.

We are not prescriptive about which wines to show, nor do we ever try and ‘second guess’ which ones are likely to be prove most popular! On the contrary, we request that each client provides the parameters within which the tasting should be conducted, and we then make suggestions accordingly.

In general we can say that sparkling, white and red wines are enjoyed at most tastings; however on occasion rosé and/or sweet wines are requested. Our more unusual wines (e.g. Teroldego, Tannat, Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet) do sometimes feature but rarely altogether!

Range of Events

As well as staging our own tastings, we also attend a wide range of public events across the country, including food and drink shows and exhibitions, presenting a selection of our wines. We attend events both with a South American theme and more general celebrations of food and drink.

Popular events which we attend include Taste of London, the BBC Winter Good Food Show at the NEC, the Oxford and Cheltenham Wine Festivals, Love Wine Festival in Birmingham and others.. A warm welcome awaits if you would like to visit the Go Brazil stand at any of these shows, and if you’re able to let us know in advance, even better.

If you are organising an event or wine tasting and would like to include Brazilian wines, please contact us.
