TASTE: Restrained overall but has a rich blackcurrant, plummy palate, very well integrated oak and touch of sweetish caramel from French oak barrels. Rounded tannins, decent acidity, medium bodied – not overheavy or spoilt by high alcohol..
FOOD PAIRING: Many possibilities but perhaps best enjoyed with roast chicken, grilled/BBQ red meats, casseroles, mushroom risotto, pasta or mature cheeses
