Campos de Cima Tannat ‘Licoroso’ NV 50cl

Now back in stock! Produced in the far southwest of Brazil by boutique family-owned winery, Campos de Cima, we are proud to incorporate their limited edition Tannat ‘Licoroso’ into our Go Brazil portfolio, on a permanent basis.

The fermented red Tannat wine is here fortified with grape spirit, increasing its Abv. to 18%, and then aged in used oak barrels for 6 years.

Very dark tawny red in colour, the wine is rich, unctuous and heavily textured, and shows a nutty, dark chocolate and raisin character. Well balanced, it is neither dry nor particularly sweet. Probably best enjoyed as a dessert wine or digestif!

Licoroso is supplied in a heavy and beautifully designed clear glass bottle (50cl), with a wooden stopper, in its own individual case. Around 1000 bottles only were produced.
